Transformation Therapies, a New Vision

Center 4 Transformation is a network of therapists, bodyworkers, health practitioners, and teachers with an new vision of working with people. All have an extensive background in meditation and experience of personal inquiry. Their blogs and articles on new directions in therapy and personal transformation are listed under Articles.

4Transform.com presents therapy in the context of enlightened vision, the understanding that whatever therapy or modality in use, it is not the end in itself, that Man is larger than the mind. The work listed here ranges between bodywork sessions for delving deeper into the body/mind connection, to week long intensives for deep personal inquiry and transformation. Therapy in this context is a bridge to meditation and personal transformation as well as a way of working within the context of deep inquiry of who we are beyond our personality and past. More information on therapy and meditation, and a listing of the therapeutic modalities presented here. This list is added to continually.

AcuEnergetics: An acupuncturist meets a new healing modality, by Rupa Selecki.
I encountered AcuEnergetics® accidentally (serendipitously?) a few years ago. My initial interest was for my own personal development and healing and the importance of the meditation component in the courses appealed to me. In order to do this work properly you needed to learn to meditate, be open-hearted and present. It made sense to balance and ground yourself if you are to treat other people’s problems.

Family Issues Therapy

Family Issues Therapy

Family Constellation Therapy by Svagito Liebermeister
Many people believe they are responsible and that they care when they feel pity for others. But this is a misunderstood way of caring. It does not help to feel pity for others.

Similarly we often believe that we are loving when we are pleasing others. Often this is not the case. It may be instead that we cannot tolerate seeing a friend in pain – in other words we are not able to tolerate our own pain. In reality this has little to do with love, it is rather egoistic, but we do not feel it this way. We feel that we are loving, but actually we are only seeing ourselves and not the other person.

A Forum for Therapists

The therapeutic modalities presented here include bodywork, group therapies, personal inquiry workshops, trainings, and intensive retreats. The therapists and teachers have contributed articles and shared experience of what happens in their work with people, which can provide a deep insight into how processes work, and what can be expected from using this approach. The articles also report new directions in personal transformation work. Many articles include the possibility to leave comments or questions about the work, or to share personal experiences.
